SupaSTOCK is an add-on module to SupaCMDB that adds inventory and stock management functions. This allows multiple quantities of the same CI to be managed from requisition to disposal.
The following functions & entities are added:
Assets & consumables may be stored in multiple quantities within a Shelving Unit at a Warehouse before being Installed at a Customer Site.
Maintenance Tickets may be raised for faulty equipment that may result in a Configuration Change or Swap Action for a replacement item. An RMA Ticket is raised to return a part to a Supplier for repair or replacement.
Items may be transferred between sites using a Ship and Receive Action.
A Work Order may utilise a Bill of Material that lists items and quantities required to make up a customer order. The necessary stock must be available to satisfy the order.
A Purchase Request lists the items, quantities and price of both assets, labour and consumables that require approval to be purchased.
SupaSTOCK keeps track of the quantity on hand, on order, in transit, installed and under repair for all inventory managed items.
Items may or may not be tracked by serial number. For example managing length of cable is not tracked by serial number but just total length.
